I used this cassettes to help study for the exam back in January of 2004. Being that I originally completed college back in 1996, I was really impressed as to how well this tape series helped prepare me for the exam. As a result, I managed to get a composite score in the 99th percentile!!! Granted, these tapes focus only on the biology, chemistry and organic chemistry portions of the exam, they do great job in preparing you for these. |

These tapes provided me with an excellent review whenever I wasn't able to actually review written texts (e.g. while driving), or whenever my mind needed a break from reading. Dr. Yazdani clearly emphasizes the most important points in every topic. The explanations are very complete yet are presented in a quick and simple manner. I especially appreciated how easy the tapes allowed me to recall the Physics concepts I had learned during my Freshman year. When actually taking the MCAT, the audio connection my mind had made with various topics allowed me to recall them much quicker than by reading alone. I highly recommend these tapes to any premedical student wanting that extra edge. |

"This DVD set is probably the most comprehensive review you will find for the MCAT. I've been through most of the good books and took a Kaplan course. I bought this set due to an intense pre-test anxiety/panic attack and it was probably the most useful investment for my medical education career. The total running time of the video is more than the Kaplan class I attended and I've probably retained more information watching these DVDs than the classroom. If you watch them two or three times, understand everything discussed and solve all the problems reviewed, my guess is you'll probably score 30 and above. The physics section is probably the best taught section followed by verbal reasoning, inorganic chem, biology and organic chem."

I have used Examkracker's Audio Osmosis also, however, the jokes and sound effects are fine at first, but when you repeat the cd's to enforce the material, they become very distracting. Using AudioLearn's course, I found that everything was more straightforward which allowed me to concentrate easier on what was being said and explained. |
